Others assert, however, that by introducing children to fresh viewpoints and ideas, Chat GPT might enhance their critical thinking and creativity. According to Kohlberg's theory, moral development occurs in phases, with later stages allowing for the understanding and application of abstract moral notions (Crain, 1985). Using Chat GPT to complete assignments could indicate that these principles were applied incorrectly. The premise that children go through various phases of cognitive development is the foundation of Kohlberg's theory, which was first proposed by Piaget and Inhelder in 1969. Kohlberg claimed that people go through six stages of moral reasoning in order to explain moral growth in terms of Piaget's theory (Crain, 1985). In the third stage, people make choices in accordance with social expectations and a desire to win others' favor. Currently, people make judgments based on their respect for societal norms and authorities. Individuals make decisions in the fifth phase based on their own liberty and the social compact. Individuals base their choices at the sixth stage on broad moral concepts (Crain, 1985). Using Chat GPT to accomplish homework was a possible moral violation, according to Kohlberg's line of reasoning. At the third stage, using Chat GPT can be seen as defying social conventions and refusing to seek approval from others. Using Chat GPT could be seen as contemptuous of the social order and authorities at the fourth level. It is against both the social compact and individual rights to use Chat GPT at stage six.

Some may consider using Chat GPT to be cheating because it jeopardizes academic integrity and the educational process. Others may regard Chat GPT as a legitimate tool for task completion because it facilitates the production of outstanding work.
Regardless of one's stance on the issue, it is essential to
recognize the potential repercussions of over-reliance on Chat GPT. The overuse
of this technology could inhibit the development of critical thinking and
creativity, which are crucial for success in many disciplines. Additionally,
the use of Chat GPT may result in a lack of originality in one's work, which
may contribute to plagiarism issues. It is essential for individuals to
evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of Chat GPT and make informed usage
decisions. In academic and professional settings, it is essential to place a
premium on personal development and ethical behavior, despite the temptation to
take technological short-cuts. Technology has become an integral component of
our existence in today's fast-paced society. With the introduction of Chat GPT,
both students and professionals have access to an effective instrument that can
aid them in their work. However, tremendous power carries with it great
responsibility. Plagiarism is a severe problem with far-reaching implications
